Temporary Crown Instructions
- Avoid hot drinks and eating until the effect of the local anaesthetic has worn off.
- Avoid eating on the side of your temporary crown for approximately 24 hours. Please eat on the other side until then.
- Continue to brush but do not use interdental brushes or floss around your temporary crown to avoid dislodgement.
- We would like you to treat the temporary crown as your normal tooth but please remember it is temporary and may dislodge prior to your next visit. If this happens, please contact us immediately on 03 5821 2388 and we will assist you on the same day.
- Once your crown has arrived, we may contact you to bring forward your next appointment forward to fit your final crown.
